Urban Prep Academies

Opened in 2006 as the nation’s first all-boys high school charter network, Urban Prep provides a comprehensive, high quality college preparatory education to young men that results in graduates succeeding in college. The school completes assessments every six weeks to identify areas of underperformance and supports the socio-emotional needs of all students. Upon reaching capacity at all three campuses, they will graduate 400 college-ready seniors each year. Urban Prep has kept the majority of its students in school and helped them achieve. In March 2010, the school announced that 100% of the first senior class was accepted to four year colleges or universities.
