LEARN Charter School

LEARN Charter School’s mission is to create a strong academic foundation and ambition from students to earn a college degree. By keeping school and class sizes small, students are able to receive a more individualized education. Average class size is 13 students per teacher, making it one of the lowest in Chicago. LEARN’s core values are a culture of respect, high expectations, safe and nurturing environment, focus on the whole child, and family involvement. The class of 2010 had 100% of students accepted into a college preparatory high school and 95% of LEARN alumni attend college. In 2011, LEARN opened its fifth charter school. All LEARN schools accommodate almost 2,000 students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
