Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel

Established in 1991, Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel has become one of the foremost pediatric institutions in the world. It is the only comprehensive, highly specialized care hospital of its kind in Israel and the Middle East and continues to be at the forefront of saving children’s lives through medical excellence. Serving as a bridge to peace in the region, patients come from the Palestinian Authority, Jordan, Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. A full range of pediatric subspecialty services are available for all children from newborn up to age 18. Adult clinics ensure follow-up care for those with congenital disorders. Of the 250 beds, 43% are assigned to critical care. The hospital is the country’s leading institution in the field of bone marrow and organ transplants.
